THE FRONT PORCH - foot operated percussion device
There are many venues where the stage is carpeted which dampens the sound of your foot tapping. When performing, your foot tapping sound is another instrument to enhance your performance. The Front Porch solves that problem and enables your foot to be heard as if you were tapping your foot to the beat of your music while on the front porch of the old shack. In addition, it serves as a metronomic aid and footstool. The spring-loaded top helps keep you leg from tiring and getting shin splints. It can be miked or used unplugged. I use one at every performance.

DIDDLEY BOWS
The one stringed instrument known in the South as the Diddley Bow was one of the first stringed instruments used in Blues. I build them out of high-end cigar boxes and small tambourines adding ebony and bone bridges, bone nuts, modern tuning machines and "F" holes. They create an authentic old-time blues sound when used with a slide. As you can see, no two are the same.
